Contest for managers (first month contest)

1. Contest for managers (CM) is a contest for the players who have registered their companies on the same day (a period between two updates), which lasts for 30 updates. On realms with subscription the contest is for the participants who have subscribed for the Subscriber Fee service on the given day;
2. The final results of a CM which started 30 updates ago are summarized every update. After this a new CM starts, and the participants who have just registered take part in it;
3. The registration for the contest is automatic: every player to register his/her company or to subscribe for the Subscriber Fee service is automatically invited to take part in the contest;
4. A company taking part in the contest and, at the same time, being restarted automatically leaves the current contest and enters the one which starts on the day of the restart. We allow three tries, after the third restart the company will not be able to take part in the CM. The companies which were created (or restarted) later than 30 updates from the date of the character registration on a realm are not included in the list of the contest members.
5. On non-subscription realms the contest is available to all companies. To win bonus points on non-subscription realms you have to have the level of Management equal to or higher than 10 not considering awarded bonuses by the moment of the contest completion;
6. The prizes of the Contest for Managers are paid with bonus points attached to the realm. The prize fund of the daily CM is 95 points: there are 5 nominations with the prize of 19 points (the first prize is 10 points, the second prize – 6 points, and the third prize – 3 points);
7. Main nominations of the CM:
   1. The Standard of Virtonomics nomination. Trade contest by standard rules of Virtonomics. The contest ranking is calculated as maximum income from the sale of goods among the stores of the company within a game week (one real day). We only take into account stores with positive balance (money flow exclusive of taxes) within a game week. Apart from that the company balance in general within a game week has to be positive, otherwise the ranking is not calculated. For the final ranking we take into account the maximum sum achieved within the period of the contest and consisting of the seven best indices of the daily ranking of one store. The winner is determined according to the final ranking on the day of the contest completion. There are no other restrictions (for store size, manager’s qualification in a certain field, etc.);
   2. The Trade Turnover nomination. A trade contest of the second type. The contest ranking is calculated as summarized income of all stores of the company within the whole period of the contest (30 updates);
   3. The Consumer goods nomination. Production and marketing contest. For the contest ranking the total sum of income from selling goods produced by a participant company is calculated. The sales of the stores on a given realm and not belonging to a participant company can also be taken into account on condition that the brand of the product in a given city is higher than 0.2 during the sales. Franchise goods and TM also require brand (without taking into account bonuses) in a given city;
   4. The Qualifying Examinations for the Candidate’s degree nomination. Science contest. The contest ranking is, in fact, the science ranking of the company. The winner is a company to gain the biggest amount of points in the science ranking within the contest period.
   5. The Raw Materials Base nomination. Contest for natural resources extractors. The contest ranking is calculated as an amount of resources extracted within the period of 30 days recalculated to their cost in game points. For example, if a player has a bauxite mine of the 5th level of quality and the 3rd level of extraction complexity (for this kind of mine a supply of one million of resources costs 20 points), and he/she has extracted 1000 items of bauxite, he/she then gets 20х1000/1000000*5000000 = 100 000 points to his/her ranking;
8. Winners in nominations (first prize winners) get points, and, apart from that, they are awarded with badges which give a +1 bonus for trade (1), trade (2), production (3), research (4), and natural resources extraction (5). Restart zeroes these awards;
9. A player can only get one prize in points. In case he/she wins in two or more nominations the player gets the biggest prize; as for the left points, they are returned to the budget. However, in this case the player is awarded with all badges he/she has won;
10. In all nominations in case of equality of the competition ranking the player with more VIRTs on the account is awarded. In case of equality in that index the extent of the holdings will be the determinating factor. In case of equality in that index also the winner will be determined randomly ;
11. All blocked companies and all companies at least once fined by the auditors during standard monitoring of the initial machinations are automatically excluded from the drawing. In case the ranking leader is a bankrupt or is very likely to become one on the day of calculating the results, the prize goes to the participant next in the ranking. If a winner does not meet the requirements for winning points (his/her Management qualification is less than 10 not considering awarded bonuses), he/she is still a winner, he/she is awarded with a badge, but fails to gain bonus points;

Contest for directors (third month contest)

1. Contest for directors (CD) – a 35 day long contest (5 weeks exactly regardless of update failures) for those who have been playing Virtonomics for the first three months;
2. All players who have played on the realm for the period of the first three months, have already concluded their participation in the Contest for Managers and with at least 5th Management level not considering awarded bonuses are automatically registered for the contest;
3. A new CD starts every Tuesday; in case there are less than 30 participants, it is delayed for a week. The results are summarized during the update between Monday and Tuesday (in case of technical failures or holidays – during the next working update);
4. Players are withdrawn from the contest in case of blocking and restart;
5. The prizes of the Contest for directors are paid with bonus points attached to the realm. The prize of each CD is 150 points: 5 nominations with the total prize of 30 points (first prize is 18 points, second prize – 9, third prize – 3). To get bonus points on realms without subscription you need the Management level at least 10 not considering awarded bonuses by the moment of the contest completion;
6. Main nominations of the CD:
   1. The Standard of Virtonomics nomination. Commercial income of each store of a contest participant is calculated every day. Only stores with positive balance (income exceeds costs, taxes not included) are taken into account. In addition, the overall balance of the company has to be positive according to the calculations, otherwise the day results are not considered. For the final ranking we take into account the maximum within the contest period sum of seven best results of the daily ranking according to one (best) store;
   2. The Markets Storm nomination. Each participant gets a point for leadership in sales of goods in items. The maximum is one point per one article of trade in each city. The leadership is among all the realm players, not only among the contest participants;
   3. The Consumer Goods nomination. The contest ranking is calculated as a total amount of trade income from the sale of goods produced by a participant company. Sales of ANY store of the realm are calculated, but on condition that the brand in the city is higher than 0.2. Franchise goods and TM also require brand (without taking into account bonuses) in a given city;
   4. The Quality Label nomination. Each participant gets a point for leadership in the weighted average quality of goods produced within the update period (leadership among ALL participants of uncompleted Contests for Directors regardless of the date of their beginning) on condition that he/she is among top 50 producers of the realm (all players are taken into consideration);
   5. The Tender mania nomination. Each participant gets a point for winning ANY prize in any of regular tenders of the realm (except for prime awards);
7. Apart from points, the winners (first prize winners) of the nominations are awarded with badges with the bonuses of +3 for trade (1), trade (2), production (3), production (4) and management (5). Restart zeroes these awards;
8. A player can only get one prize in points. In case of winning in several nominations a player gets the biggest prize and other points are returned to the budget. At the same time, winning in several nominations does not deprive a player of his/her right to be awarded with several badges;
9. In all nominations in case of equality of the contest ranking the prize goes to a player with the biggest amount of VIRTs on the account. If this amount is also equal for several players the determinating factor is the size of assets. If the assets are also equal the winner is determined by a drawing;

Contest for presidents (contest of the sixth month)

1. Contest for presidents (CP) – a contest which is conducted every three months and is for those who have been playing Virtonomics for the first six months;
2. Director is a participant of the completed contests for directors who has taken the place not lower than the fifth one in any of the nominations OR has the qualification in Management not lower than 10 not considering awarded bonuses by the moment of the contest completion;
3. All directors are automatically registered for the contest for presidents, we also allow players who have been playing on the realm for 3 to 6 months (there are some time restrictions; accordingly, the contest which starts in April is available for those registered from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31). We only consider players who are not blocked, not bankrupt, who are not participating in the current contests for managers or directors and with positive company turnover;
4. Contest for presidents starts once per three months (in January, April, July, and October) in case there are at least 30 directors who can participate. If there are not enough participants, the contest is not conducted. In this case all directors keep their status until the next CP;
5. There are three stages in the contest: qualification, group stage, and the final part. All stages start on the first Tuesday of the month. Qualification and group stage last three calendar weeks regardless of update failures. Final stage lasts seven updates;
6. Players are withdrawn from any stage of the contest in case of blocking and restart;
7. During the qualification the participants compete for the possibility to take part in the group stage and to get the Sponsor President title which gives +5 to all qualifications. Main nominations of the qualification for the CP:
   1. Mission of Peace nomination. We choose one of the seven poorest cities of the realm for the moment of the contest beginning. This city then becomes the main stage for the nomination, which is completely equal to the Standard of Virtonomics nomination. Trade income of each store of the contest participant is calculated daily. Only stores with positive balance are taken into account (the income exceeds costs, taxes not included). In addition, the overall balance of the company has to be positive according to the calculations (the income exceeds costs, taxes not included), otherwise the day results are not taken into account. For the final ranking the highest sum of seven best results of daily ranking for one (best) store gained during the contest period is taken into account;
   2. Unbeaten Track nomination. We choose one of the seven least popular articles of the retail trade of the realm except for the production of agricultural farms and plantations and retail goods from the category “Materials, half-finished products” (fabric). For ranking the total income from all retail sales of an indicated product of the company in progressive total is calculated;
   3. City Patron nomination. We choose one of the seven cities with the highest level of unemployment. For the ranking we calculate the total of salaries paid by the enterprises of an indicated city on the condition that the company’s total balance is positive (the income exceeds costs, taxes not included) and that the enterprises’ total efficiency is more than 90%;
   4. Deficiency nomination. We choose one of the seven most hard-to-get (according to the smallest index of overproduction) articles of trade of the realm except for animals, wood and the production of agricultural farms and plantations. For the ranking we calculate the total volume of production of the chosen product of the quality higher than average of the realm and on condition that the company’s total balance is positive (the income exceeds costs, taxes not included);
   5. Animal World nomination. Animal breeding contest. We choose one of the breeds of the realm. For the ranking we take the total volume of bred animals of the quality higher than average on the realm and on condition that the company’s total balance is positive (the income exceeds costs, taxes not included);
   6. Forestry nomination. Contest for wood producers. For the ranking we take the total volume of the produced wood of the quality higher than average on the realm and on condition that the company’s total balance is positive (the income exceeds costs, taxes not included);
   7. Technomania nomination. The contest ranking is calculated as total income of the company made within the contest period from sale of technologies, not considering sales of licenses;
8. Sponsor President prime award (title which gives +5 to all qualifications) is competed for after summing up the results of all qualification nominations. The first prize of the nomination is 5 points, the second – 3 points, the third – 1 point. The winner is a participant to gain more points;
9. All directors and players who have taken the places not lower than the 5th ones in the qualification nominations can compete in the main stage of the contest. In addition, by the moment the group stage begins the participants from non-subscription realms need at least 15 points of the Management qualification not considering awarded bonuses and a purchased Company logo service. On the realms with subscription there are no extra requirements to qualify for the group stage;
10. During the group stage players compete for the possibility to get to the finals and for honorable mention prizes – plots. Main nominations of the group stage of the CP:
    1. The Standard of Virtonomics nomination. Commercial income of each store of a contest participant is calculated every day. Only stores with positive balance (income exceeds costs, taxes not included) are taken into account. In addition, the overall balance of the company has to be positive according to the calculations, otherwise the day results are not considered. For the final ranking we take into account the maximum within the contest period sum of seven best results of the daily ranking according to one (best) store;
    2. Storm of Regions nomination. Each participant gets a point for leadership in sales of goods in items. The maximum is one point per one article of trade in each region. The leadership is among all the realm players, not only among the contest participants;
    3. Best Trade Mark nomination. The contest ranking is calculated as total income from sale of TM by a company participating in the contest. Sales of ANY stores of the realm are calculated. Every TM is considered separately;
    4. Breadwinner nomination. The contest ranking is calculated as the sum of sales of agricultural farms and plantations in the mode "to any customer" (not considering sales volume inside the company; considering the sales of accumulating warehouses). The total of sales is calculated in points: a point for sale of a 1/52 part of the year harvest from a minimal farm (20 000 units for grain, 10 000 units for grape, etc.) In total the ranking cannot exceed the total cost in points of farms and plantations which are in the ownership of the company;
    5. Your Way to Success nomination. The contest ranking is calculated as a total index of successfulness of a player within the main stage of the contest. The index is shown in the ranking by successfulness and, in fact, reflects the qualifications growth dynamics of the contest participant.
11. The first prize winners of the group stage get badges with the bonuses of +5 for trade (1), trade (2), production (3), agriculture (4), and management (5). Restart zeroes these awards;
12. In addition, as well as the qualification stage, group stage has a prime award. The first prize of the nomination is 5 points, the second – 3 points, the third – a point. The winner is a participant to win more points. He/she then gets an agricultural farm of 1000 hectares, the 5th level of fertility and 300 points worth. The farm location is determined randomly. The second prize winner gets an agricultural farm of 1000 hectares, the 4th level of fertiliry and 200 points worth. The farm location is determined randomly. The third prize winner gets an agricultural farm of 1000 hectares, the 3rd level of fertility and 110 points worth. The farm location is determined randomly;
13. The participants who are among the first five of the group stage make it to the finals. The final is a one week long tender competition;
14. The final stage participants need to win (take the first prize regardless of the tender League and if they are registered) as many tenders of the realm as possible, except for duel tenders. For every victory a player gets a point;
15. After the final 7 days long tender competition participants fight for the prize fund. The first prize is 130 VIRTs, the second – 75 VIRTs, the third – 45 VIRTs, the forth – 30 VIRTs, the fifth – 20 VIRTs;
16. When summing up the results (nominations, prime awards, final stage, etc.), if there are players with equal positions in the ranking, wins the player who has more VIRTs (potential winnings are not considered). If this amount is also equal the determinating factor is the size of assets. If the assets are also equal the winner is determined by a drawing.
